Projet1826 is the brainchild of two gentlemen who are very passionate about shoes.

The brand is positioned to meet the lifestyle and choice of men who have achieved a high level of self-realisation and are totally comfortable with who they are: self-assured and have no need to prove anything to anyone but they care about their self-image. It is a brand that will appeal to the man who says “I dress down because I can.” His outlooks is aesthetically pleasing, socially presentable, yet he makes a stand for comfort at the same time.

The PROJET1826 story

The brand name Projet1826 was conceived seconds after both partners Richard Tsen and Alfies Lu decided to embark on their plan to develop their own brand of footwear. As they glanced over to a digital clock that was poised on the table, the time showed 18:26. Et voila! Their project had a name! Projet1826!

Frustrated with the unavailability of such designs, the partners decided take matters into their own hands. They would design such shoes themselves!

After months of intensive market study, designing and sourcing, a new brand of stylish, comfortable, no-fuss-no-frill footwear was born – PROJET1826!

The brand promises to offer the discerning, fashion-forward man (from all ages and lifestyles), a chance to step out in ultra-comfortable style and confidence; Any time, Anywhere.

A FOCUS ON QUALITY

Absolutely no pigskin materials are used. The source of the brand’s leather comes from the lamb and cow.

In the brand’s effort to also reduce the usage of animal skins, 10% synthetic materials are used in the shoe’s material.

The rubber outsoles of Project1826’s are made from quality latex that is flexible and able to survive humidity; making it less prone to mold.

Project 1826 has invested heavily to ensure ultimate comfort for the customer. The shoe last which forms the shoe’s upper are fitted on contours of actual feet/

The brand has developed designs that cater to customers of various feet types such as wide feet, wide toes, heavy-heeled and skinny feet. All shoe designs are fitted on live models to test for comfort prior to design approval.

Projet1826 upcoming design plans include developing a shoe design for those with flat feet.
